What we hold, and what we do with it.

Alpine Gate is a directory and introduction service. We are not a bank, a payment institution or a broker, and we never take custody of anyone's money. That shapes this page: we hold far less about you than most sites do, and this explains exactly what.

What we collect

Only what you send us. When you use a form on this site we receive the fields you fill in, which depending on the form may include your name, email address, telephone number, company, website, country and whatever you write in your own words.

We also record which page the enquiry came from, and a referrer or campaign identifier if one was present in the link you followed. That is so we know where enquiries come from. It is not used to build a profile of you.

We do not ask for, and do not want, government identification, financial account details, wallet keys or seed phrases. Do not send them.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets one cookie, _alpine_gate_key, which keeps your session working while you move between pages. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

No product analytics are running on this site. If that changes, this page changes with it, and you will be asked before anything is loaded.

Where it goes

• Enquiries are stored in our database, hosted in the European Union.
• Enquiries are passed to our customer relationship system so that we can answer them and keep track of the conversation.
• Where you ask us to make an introduction, we share what is necessary with the party we are introducing you to, and nothing more.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Requests to the Desk

A request sent to the Desk is treated as confidential. We do not publish client names, we do not disclose who we work with, and no request becomes a case study or a testimonial. Nothing you send the Desk leaves it without your agreement.

Merchants

Where a business applies to be listed, we hold the company information and supporting evidence it provides, along with the images it uploads for its profile. Material marked private stays private and is used only to reach a verification decision. Material a merchant publishes appears on its public profile.

Registration, licensing and payment documents are uploaded to us and stored privately. They are never published, never turned into a public image, and are readable only by the people who review verification files. We keep them for the year a verification runs and the year after it, because a renewal is checked against what was submitted last time. After that they are deleted. A merchant may ask us to delete theirs sooner, which ends the verification.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for as long as we may reasonably need to answer questions about an introduction we made. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep a record.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to sales@alpinegate.co and a person will answer.

Alpine Cipher

Advisory enquiries submitted through the Private Advisory route enter a separate Alpine Cipher pipeline, outside Alpine Gate's commercial arrangements. Nothing offered on this site is offered to Alpine Cipher advisory clients.
