Gate Verified is the annual certification behind every listing in this directory, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi first and in every city that follows. A buyer who sees the mark knows three things were checked, and when. We curate and verify; we never hold customer funds.

A valid trade licence in the merchant's own jurisdiction, confirmed against the local register and renewed with the certification.

WHY THIS EXISTS
It started as a question people kept asking.
Which restaurant takes USDT. Which hotel, which car rental, which supplier, which agent. Our founder was asked some version of it almost weekly, and the honest answer was always the same: a few names, heard from someone else, none of them checkable.
That is a workable answer between friends and a poor one before a wire leaves. So the answer became this: a directory where every name carries evidence, and the evidence says what was checked, against which source, on which date. Not an opinion about a merchant. A record a buyer can read and disagree with.

The public list of every merchant holding a current certificate, with its issue date and status. If a name is not in the registry, it is not Gate Verified, whatever the badge says.

This keeps the verification engine separable from the directory and ready to support other House of Borel products. Both are owned by House of Borel, so Proof Rail is not an independent check on Alpine Gate, and every record discloses it.

What the mark is, and what it is not.
Gate Verified means our curation criteria were met on the date of issue, and the certification is renewed annually. It is a listing standard.
Verification is not regulatory approval, a compliance opinion, financial advice or a substitute for a buyer's own checks.
Alpine Gate is not a bank, exchange, custodian, payment processor or escrow service. Payment and settlement are handled directly by the merchant and its selected licensed provider.
A certificate states what was checked, how it was checked and when. It does not say that a transaction is risk-free.
